It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry Daniel Lay (Dan), a beloved artist and cherished member of the Oklahoma City community. Born on December 30, 1946, in Oklahoma City, OK, Dan's passion for art was evident in all aspects of his life.
Dan will forever be remembered: by his daughter Danielle Bouldin, son-in-law Ron Bouldin; sister Judy and her husband Irmon Gray; brother Thomas and his wife Sandy Lay; sister-in-law Eden Lay; grandsons Brett Armstrong Jr and Brandon Rickey; and by all those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father Wilburn Lay, his mother Violet and brother Richard Lay. His creative spirit and kind demeanor touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.
Dan's stain glass work continues to be the talk of the town. He will be solely missed by his friends, brothers and sisters at The Red Cup in Oklahoma City.
A dedicated artist, Dan's talent and vision brought beauty and inspiration to those around him. His work will continue to be a source of joy and reflection for years to come, a testament to his creative legacy.
In his passing, Dan leaves behind a void that will never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
