Geneva Ann Fowler, born to parents Oliver and Lenora Cobb on August 4, 1946, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, passed away on March 29, 2024, in Oklahoma City at the age of 77 surrounded by her family.
A woman of faith, Geneva was an active member of the Vandament Ave Baptist Church in Yukon, Oklahoma. She had a vibrant spirit that loved her family and church family. In her early years, she traveled in a bowling league. Geneva enjoyed camping, and organizing both family reunions at Lake Murray and joyous 4th of July gatherings with family and friends. She cherished her time outdoors and especially treasured her role as a grandmother.
Geneva will be dearly missed by her devoted husband, Garey Fowler; her children, Jeff and wife Sandi, Gregg and wife Tina, Kerri and husband Paul; Codi; grandchildren, Kaci and husband Austin, Kobe, Jordan and wife Marleigh, Hunter and wife Caytlin. She was a beloved sister to Margery, Eugene, James, and Joy and husband Mike; sister-in-law to Arliss and wife Sherry Fowler; and aunt to many nieces and nephews. In her passing, Geneva is reunited with her parents Oliver and Lenora Cobb and sister-in-law Gena.
A Public Viewing and visitation will be held at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary on Tuesday April 2, 2024, from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Geneva's life will be honored with a funeral service at the Vandament Ave Baptist Church on Wednesday April 3, 2024, at 10:00 am, followed by a beautiful Interment Ceremony at the Yukon Cemetery. Geneva's legacy will live on through the memories she leaves behind and the lives she touched with her warmth and kindness. In her honor, let us come together to celebrate a life well-lived and a soul that will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
