Norman Lenhart Obituary

Norman J. Lenhart, Jr. passed away February 13, 2024. He was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania on December 7, 1934 and was raised in Summit, New Jersey until he and his mother moved to Wewoka, Oklahoma in the early 1940s. A man of many talents, Norman worked as a mechanic, painter and equipment operator, to name a few, in addition to running his own lawn care business and, his favorite, ever, dump truck business. Later in his career, he worked for OG&E at the Mustang Power Plant before retiring and going to work for McClain's RV moving and delivering RVs across the country. He loved to drive, whether it was cars, trucks or equipment, Norman loved to drive. In his spare time, Norman loved to tinker and could restore anything that had broken or wasn't working properly. On December 16, 1977, he married the love of his life and best friend, Juanita. Norman had five children, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Lenhart, of the home; daughter, Kathi Scott; daughter, Kim Delgrosso and husband, Mark; daughter, Robin Rabe and husband Glen; son Mark and wife, Sandi; daughter-in-law Janice Elliott; and his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, father, Norman J. Lenhart, Sr. and step-mother, Olivia Lenhart; mother, Kathleen Lenhart; father-in-law, Lee Draves; mother-in-law, Pauline Draves and his son, Howard Elliott. Norman will be laid to rest at Frisco Cemetery in a private burial in Yukon, OK.
